This Membership Agreement (the Agreement) is effective November 15, 2023 by and between the IFTAS Connect web site, hereinafter referred to as Community, accessed via https://stg-iftasmembers-761.ue1.rapydapps.cloud with a business address of 100 Main Street #270, Ossining, New York 10562, and all current and future members of IFTAS Community Web Site hereinafter referred to as “Member”.
By accessing, browsing or using the stg-iftasmembers-761.ue1.rapydapps.cloud website you represent that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Membership Agreement and by reference the IFTAS Community Participation Guidelines available at https://stg-iftasmembers-761.ue1.rapydapps.cloud/community-participation-guidelines/
The Community is a community of practice facilitating the exchange of personal information between people. This activity may include reading the profile pages of other members and optionally contacting them. The Community provides to its members benefits such as but not exclusive to: access to published resources, participation in working groups, collaborative discussions and documents, and messaging. The Community works like an online community of Internet users.
Member shall fill in the correct information requested in the Registration form on the site. Member shall be required to promptly update the Member Information on the site. Member shall select a username and password during the Registration process. Member shall be responsible for: a) all use of the Site made by the Member’s username and password, and b) maintaining the confidentiality of the Member’s username and password.
The Content includes messages and other materials posted to forums, groups, or other locations on the Site by the members of the Community. Member of the Community is deemed to grant the Community the nonexclusive right to post, display, copy, and modify the Content in connection with the operation of the Site and the Community’s business. Further, the Member is deemed to grant the Community the nonexclusive right to post, display, and copy the Content within the limitations set by the Member during the online publishing process. Member is also deemed to authorize the Community to disclose their personal data when the Member includes such personal data in the content.
If the Member has a dispute with one or more other Members, the Member shall release the Community (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
Community shall not sell or rent Member’s personal information to third parties. Community shall store and process Member’s information on computers located in the United States that are protected by physical as well as technological security devices. However, the Community shall be permitted to access and modify Member’s information as needed.
Member shall indemnify and hold the Community (and its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures and employees) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of Member’s breach of this Agreement, or Member’s violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchiser-franchisee relationship is intended or created by this Agreement.
Member shall choose to retire or delete the published content from the Community site and it shall be no longer available or visible to other visitors. Terms regarding the status of the uploaded content shall remain applicable when the Member chooses to terminate the membership. Contents posted to the site, other than the published content, shall not be deleted or retired as a result of the Member’s termination.
This Agreement shall be construed under and governed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.
Any dispute arising under this contract shall be resolved under the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Member shall not hold Community responsible for other Member’s content, actions or inactions.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains the information collection, use, and sharing practices of IFTAS, Inc. (“IFTAS,” “we,” “us,” and “our”).
Unless otherwise noted on a particular Web site or service hosted by IFTAS, this Policy describes and governs the information collection, use, and sharing practices of IFTAS with respect to your use of our Web sites that link to this Privacy Policy, including: about.iftas.org, stg-iftasmembers-761.ue1.rapydapps.cloud, and mastodon.iftas.org (collectively, the “Web sites”), and the services we provide through our Web sites and/or host on our servers (collectively, the Web sites, and the services available through them are referred to as the “Services”).

IFTAS has designed this policy to be consistent with the following principles:
We collect information in multiple ways, including when you provide information directly to us; when we passively collect information from you, such as from your browser or device; and from third parties.
We will collect any information you provide to us. We may collect information from you in a variety of ways, such as when you: (a) create an online account, (b) make a donation or purchase, (c) register for an event, (d) contact us or provide feedback, (e) upload your creative work or images, (f) subscribe to our newsletter, or (g) apply for a job at IFTAS. This information may include but is not limited to your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, payment information, photo, geographic location, and your social media handles.
We may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices or tablets) you use to access the Services. As described further below, we may collect and analyze (a) device information such as IP addresses, location information (by country and city), unique device identifiers, IMEI and TCP/IP address, browser types, browser language, operating system, mobile device carrier information, and (b) information related to the ways in which you interact with the Services, such as referring and exit Web pages and URLs, platform type, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages and content viewed and the order of those pages, statistical information about the use of the Services, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time you used the Services, the frequency of your use of the Services, error logs, and other similar information. Our primary computer systems are based in the United States, and our contractors are based in the United States, Canada, the EEA, and other regions. We will continue to evaluate this Privacy Policy as we update and expand our Services, and we may make changes to the Privacy Policy accordingly. We will post any changes here and revise the date last updated above. We encourage you to check this page periodically for updates to stay informed on how we collect, use and share your information. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide you with notice as required by law.
